TESTIMONIALS

A school principal shared…I am not sure what our school would do without our NKOA funds.  They provide needed clothing, coats, shoes and supplies for our most needy students.  The money goes straight back to the children and families in our community.  Our building has PreK-2nd grade and the funds are used to keep these kids clothed and warm in the winter.  If you want to find a way to give back to the communities in the Greater-Cincinnati area there is no better way than giving to Neediest Kids of All.

A local retired teacher and now NKOA donor shared….I am glad to be in a position now to better help the children of Cincinnati.  When I was teaching at a local elementary school, I had a Kindergarten student who had heavy eyelids that limited his vision.  With the help of the school nurse, at my suggestion, we contacted NKOA.  In 2 months that child had surgery to correct the vision at no cost to the family.  I still hold dear to my heart the tears of appreciation from his mother.  In fact, we cried together.

A donor shared…I am reminded of the days I went to school with cardboard in my shoes to cover up the holes.  NKOA helped me get a new pair of shoes and I will never forget that day.  Today it is my pleasure to donate to NKOA and help children like me.

A school counselor shared…I had an 8th grade student who lives with his aunt and 6 other siblings.  He was in dire need of clothing that fit him and provided warmth.  We used NKOA funding to purchase these items for this child.  He made the comment that he usually doesn't get to pick his clothes out because they are usually "hand-me-downs" from his older siblings or stuff that has been donated to his family. He loved being able to find clothes that fit his style.  He was so moved by having new clothes, he cried in my office of joy.  Thank you NKOA!

A school resource coordinator shared…Neediest Kids of All helped many families in our school district this year.  We had a new family move to our area that was experiencing homelessness.  NKOA helped us be able to provide winter clothing for them including socks, underwear, gloves, and hats.  The students were very appreciative of the new warm clothing items.  The family is now doing well, stable, and in housing.  This is a great example of how a small act of kindness, like the generosity of NKOA donors, can go a long way in helping students in our community feel welcomed, supported, and accepted.  Thank you from our school district staff & all the families that were helped!

A school administrator shared…These funds help so many underprivileged students at our school.  It is so helpful that it is readily accessible when an urgent need arises.  We have been able to provide kids with school clothes, shoes, undergarments, hygiene items and much more. Our students have not had school pictures taken for several years, with the help of NKOA, all students had their picture taken and was given a printed 5x7 to take home.  It may have been the best day of the school year.  I cannot express enough gratitude for what these funds do to change the lives of so many kids.

A school principal shared…Thank you for your continued support of our students.  There is something very comforting and empowering having the funds from NKOA available when a need presents itself and we can help a child.  NKOA is the only funding we have to purchase basic necessities for our student’s facing poverty.

A school representative reported…Neediest Kids of All is an amazing organization who assists schools and students with meeting the clothing need of students.  They have assisted our school district for many years in providing jackets, shoes, and clothing items.

A grateful mother shared…I would like to thank Neediest Kids of All for buying my son new clothes.  One of the hardest things about being a single mother of 5 is making sure they all have appropriate clothing for the change in weather.  Words can’t describe the amount of gratitude I have for your help in a time of need.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
